The Directory Services Security Team DSST are looking for a security engineer to handle the Active Directory AD infrastructure relating to accounts groups and management which helps to protect the group The team handles accounts and security groups used to assign access they act as gatekeepers to the AD estate and its privileged accounts and groups ensuring that all controls are in place for the in-scope AD Domains Our ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the technologies used for the implementation of several technical security initiatives and standards within the LSEG AD both on prem and Entra ID If this sounds like you you should have excellent overall AD knowledge in both environments and be able to use PowerShell and Excel to a proficient level to build reports You will possess broad abilities including problem solving and resolution and an excellent communicator Role summary Using controls ensure management information is timely take ownership and escalate updating and closing requests Enforce to and help craft policies and procedures as well as implement appropriate controls and ensure compliance monitoring Contribute to status reports and maintain risks and issues registers Ensure changes are accurately impact-assessed implemented and are represented at Change Approval Boards Assist with all Security related project work as well as daily tasks as required Assist in the delivery of Security Initiatives and implementations some of which will be at weekends or unsociable hours and provide aftercare assistance Implement changes to and support Active Directory and associated services Help to promote any new Security standards and procedures to be implemented group wide and assure consistency with existing standards and processes Key responsibilities and skills required for this role Very good Active Directory Knowledge ideally 3 years minimum in an Enterprise environment with hierarchy management group design deployment configuration and BAU support Experience with all aspects of AD user and group Management Excellent liaising with Service line owners and customers Good document authoring skills Experience working in an Enterprise environment with strong change control practices Solid grasp of Windows Server Technologies e g Service accounts and policies restricting their use through Group membership and GPO Desirable Skills PowerBI PowerApps Experience of Service Now as the primary ITSM tool Worked with Privileged Access Management tools and products Advanced Excel skills Communicate effectively
