Job Requirements Relevant Experience Required Proven experience in preparing and executing instrument work packs in brownfield live plant TAR environments Proficient in SAP-PM MS Office and Primavera P6 Familiar with international codes and standards IEC ISA ATEX SIL Technical Strong knowledge of field instruments Familiar with DCS ESD PLC systems and associated loop logics Planning Execution Skilled in TAR job sequencing interface coordination and job bundling Experience in managing high-criticality loops e g shutdown logic SIL-rated instruments Knowledge of calibration procedures and control system cutover strategies Safety Compliance Strong HSE awareness in instrument isolation high-pressure systems and confined space entry Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and hazardous energy control measures Communication Teamwork Effective communicator with strong documentation and reporting abilities Able to interface effectively with multi-discipline teams operations electrical mechanical QA QC Key Deliverables Fully approved and execution-ready Instrument Work Packs Updated SAP records with task steps duration material codes and job status Availability of materials tools and vendor services prior to execution HSE compliance in instrument isolation loop testing and job execution Support during execution quality checks and lessons-learned capture Key Responsibilities Work Request Evaluation Scope Definition Review instrumentation TAR notifications and work orders for accuracy and completeness Validate scope through field verification drawings and consultation with requestors Conduct site surveys to check loop elements accessibility HAC and isolation requirements Identify obsolete or duplicate scope and support late scope inclusion and change control workflows Work Pack Preparation Develop detailed instrumentation execution work packs aligned with TAR readiness gates and client-specific procedures Work packs must include Job method statements e g calibration loop checking replacement MTO tools and test equipment lists e g HART communicator multimeter pressure calibrator Updated P IDs loop diagrams JB schedules I O lists and instrument indexes Process and electrical isolation plans QA QC hold and witness points Testing procedures loop checks functional testing calibration protocols Safety requirements include scaffolding access and lifting plans Ensure CMMS e g SAP is updated with correct tasks durations materials and work center codes Maintain compliance with the client s Work Pack Preparation Procedure and revision control Material Tools Spare Parts Planning Identify all necessary instrument spares and materials e g transmitters valves tubing fittings impulse lines Verify MTOs through field walkdowns OEM documentation and BOMs Coordinate with Supply Chain to confirm ROS dates and material availability Monitor readiness of specialized test HSE Risk Assessment Perform job-specific risk assessments JSAs and support instrument-specific HAZOP HAZID studies Address instrumentation risks such as Working with pressurized systems Impulse line draining and venting Exposure to hazardous gases in analyzer systems High-energy pneumatic hydraulic actuators Ensure compliance with TAR HSE protocols and availability of required PTWs isolations and energy control procedures Vendor Resource Contractor Coordination Liaise with third-party vendors for calibration services analyzer tuning DCS ESD support Ensure contractor resources are onboarded briefed and trained in site-specific procedures Validate readiness of subcontractors including QA QC support and specialized personnel e g analyzer technicians instrument fitters Schedule Integration Execution Support Align instrument work packs with overall TAR schedule using Primavera P6 Identify critical instrumentation jobs impacting commissioning or production e g ESD loops SIL loops Provide field support during job execution RFI resolution and work pack closeout Quality Data Change Management Capture lessons learned from repetitive scopes e g valve calibration loop checks for future TARs Support KPI tracking incident investigations audits and post-TAR review sessions Work Experience Bachelor s degree in Instrument engineering or equivalent Minimum 10 years of oil gas industry experience onshore offshore with a robust background in
