We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Testing Engineer or Physicist with hands-on expertise in operating universal tensile machines to join our ISO IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratory The ideal candidate brings a strong background in mechanical testing quality assurance and compliance with international standards This role involves conducting various mechanical tests analysing results and ensuring that all procedures adhere to established protocols Key Responsibilities o Conduct Mechanical Tests Perform tensile compression fatigue and other mechanical tests using universal testing machines and related equipment o Data Analysis Analyse test results to identify trends discrepancies prepare detailed reports documenting findings o Equipment Calibration and Maintenance Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated per ISO IEC 17025 standards and perform routine maintenance o Compliance and Quality Assurance Maintain compliance with ISO IEC 17025 requirements assist in internal audits and quality control processes o Documentation Prepare and maintain accurate records of testing procedures results and equipment maintenance logs Qualifications Education Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Physics B Sc or M Sc or a related field Experience 1-3 years of work experience in mechanical testing specifically with universal tensile machines Technical Skills Proficient in operating mechanical testing equipment strong understanding of ASTM ISO and other relevant testing standards Analytical Skills Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail able to analyse complex datasets effectively Communication Skills Solid verbal and written communication skills ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications o Certification in Quality Assurance or related fields is a plus o Experience working in an ISO IEC 17025 accredited laboratory environment Note Candidates with a B Sc or M Sc in Physics and relevant experience in mechanical testing are strongly encouraged to apply We value diverse scientific backgrounds that bring analytical rigor and a multidisciplinary approach to our laboratory team Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 32 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience ISO IEC 17025 1 year Required UTM machine 2 years Preferred Work Location In person
