Your JobThe Subject Matter Expert SME - Singapore Philippines Payroll Operations is responsible for delivering accurate timely and compliant payroll processing for the Singapore and Philippines employee populations This role provides deep technical expertise in end-to-end payroll execution resolves complex operational issues strengthens process controls and partners closely with Business HR Finance and internal HR Solutions teams The SME plays a key role in driving operational excellence supporting customer experience and enabling process and system improvements across both locations Our Team Koch India is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll SME for Singapore and Philippines to join our HRS - Global Payroll team In this role you will be the go-to expert for payroll rules in both countries ensuring payroll is accurate and compliant You will help solve complex cases improve payroll processes maintain strong documentation and work closely with Business HR HR Operations Compliance and Finance You will also support month-end and year-end activities while helping train the team and strengthen payroll controls What You Will Do Execute and support the end-to-end payroll lifecycle for SG PH including validations inputs reconciliations statutory compliance approvals and disbursements Ensure payroll processing adheres to SG PH regulations internal controls compliance audit requirements and company standards Act as a operational escalation point for complex payroll issues exceptions and employee queries Partner closely with HR Operations Business HR Finance and Compliance teams to resolve payroll queries and ensure timely closure of cases Support customer engagements and contribute to meeting SLAs and quality metrics consistently Provide subject matter expertise during audits and compliance discussions Support continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities in collaboration with the supervisor and internal teams Maintain thorough and accurate documentation including DTPs process notes and compliance checklists Contribute to knowledge sharing and training within the team to enhance technical capability Who You Are Basic Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Business Accounting HR or a related field 5-8 years of strong payroll experience including deep hands-on experience with SG and or PH payroll operations Strong knowledge of Singapore Philippines payroll regulations statutory requirements and payroll processes What Will Put You Ahead Experience in shared services or multi-country payroll environments Strong understanding of SG PH labor laws statutory contributions and compliance requirements Hands-on experience with payroll platforms e g ADP Workday SAP Paymaster or equivalent Strong stakeholder management and communication skills particularly with HR and Finance partners Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines high-volume cycles and complex payroll scenarios Experience in process optimization controls strengthening and audit readiness Strong analytical skills particularly with payroll data and reconciliations At Koch companies we are entrepreneurs This means we openly challenge the status quo find recent ways to create value and get rewarded for our individual contributions Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate s knowledge skills abilities and geographic location If you have questions please speak to your recruiter about the flexibility and detail of our compensation philosophy Who We Are At Koch employees are empowered to do what they do best to make life better Learn how our business philosophy helps employees unleash their potential while creating value for themselves and the company Additionally everyone has individual work and personal needs We seek to enable the best work environment that helps you and the business work together to produce superior results
