Company Name VARITE India Private Limited About The Client An Indian multinational information technology IT consulting company headquartered in Noida The company has offices in 52 countries and over 225 944 employees The Client is a global IT services and consulting company that offers a wide range of services and products across various industries like IT Infrastructure Services Cybersecurity Services Cloud Services Big Data and Analytics Internet of Things IoT Solutions Semiconductor Services and Enterprise Software Products Essential Job Functions Monitor the responsiveness and availability of critical websites and web applications from the end-user perspective Monitor infrastructure component and production applications for performance and availability Provide deep visibility into applications performance Support the efforts for ongoing Dynatrace Agent platform implementation Implement application monitoring synthetic and real user monitoring solutions following best practices across the enterprise Implement Dynatrace extensions in order to broaden monitoring coverage Leverage the Dynatrace API to extend monitoring automate processes or enable other development teams needing the API data Develop processes to monitor and alert for critical business transactions and applications to catch an issue before the impact Participates in the discussion of applications performance and infrastructure outage incidents to provide solutions Utilize available data and tools to analyze incidents and questions to determine impacts and root cause Create dashboards custom views metrics alerts and other configurations in Dynatrace Performance tuning of Dynatrace application and finding automation methods Administer and configuring the Dynatrace platform Train users on best practices and Dynatrace features to proactively monitor performance in their environment as well as use the product to identify bottlenecks as needed Function as a front-line technical resource for best practice and informal questions Design and develop innovative solutions to integrate Dynatrace in customer workplace and make it a part of their day-to-day operations Help document best practices in developing and deploying Dynatrace in customer environment Providing performance tuning suggestion to application team on basis of reports Perform host and process health Analysis Perform Dynatrace Database Health Analysis Assist in troubleshooting of application performance issues and produce ad hoc reports Maintain or acquire within 6 months a Dynatrace Associate certification Qualifications 5 years of experience in Information Systems performing application and infrastructure analysis Monitoring Engineer having experience in Dynatrace with multiple hardware OS ability to monitor components such as integrations external services infrastructure components transactions and business activities from applications Must be an effective communicator willing to learn new things an excellent problem solver and self-motivated Required Skills Strong Knowledge in Dynatrace tool administration concepts Ability to direct and guide team to resolve crisis situations Working knowledge of application monitoring best practices Experience with application development technologies programming languages and troubleshooting techniques Experience with multiple hardware and operating systems such as Unix Linux Windows Experience with application performance management technologies server and application real and synthetic monitoring components Synthetic monitoring tools including browser-based testing and load generators Infrastructure monitoring tools client server network logs Understanding of core development principles of scripting languages like Perl Java and Python Experience in configuration management and orchestration tools Self-driven individual with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Analytical skills Good analytical troubleshooting skills in the area of a technical fault isolation and rectification Shift -
