Job Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist SLP is responsible for evaluating diagnosing and treating individuals with speech language voice fluency and swallowing disorders The SLP works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support clients in improving communication and quality of life Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech language and swallowing assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings Provide therapy sessions to individuals and groups as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and reports Collaborate with caregivers educators and healthcare professionals to support holistic care Educate clients and families on communication strategies and home programs Participate in case conferences IEP meetings if applicable and care planning sessions Stay updated with the latest research and practices in speech-language pathology Ensure compliance with legal ethical and qualified standards
