Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated SICU Staff Nurse to provide specialized care to critically ill surgical patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills critical thinking abilities and a compassionate approach to patient care in high-stress fast-paced environments Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to critically ill post-operative and trauma patients in the SICU Monitor vital signs neurological status and post-surgical recovery progress Administer medications IV fluids blood products and other prescribed treatments Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment e g ventilators cardiac monitors infusion pumps Perform frequent assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with surgical teams intensivists and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and responses Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical recovery periods Adhere to strict infection control patient safety and confidentiality standards Participate in shift handovers case reviews and emergency response drills Qualifications Registered Nurse RN with valid nursing license Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN preferred Critical Care Nursing Certification e g CCRN is an advantage Minimum 1-2 years of experience in ICU SICU or other critical care settings Strong clinical knowledge in post-operative and trauma care Proficient in the use of critical care equipment and electronic health records Excellent communication time management and teamwork skills Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure life-threatening situations Work Environment Hospital Surgical Intensive Care Units SICUs 24 7 work setting rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays Requires physical stamina and emotional resilience Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 18 000 00 - 23 000 00 per month Benefits Paid sick time Provident Fund Language Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
