We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to lead and manage platform infrastructure ensuring reliability scalability and security The role involves implementing best practices driving automation and supporting continuous improvement across platform engineering and operations You will mentor and collaborate with engineering teams and third-party partners to deliver robust platform solutions Key Responsibilities Lead the design development deployment and management of platform architectures Coordinate daily stand-ups workload planning and operational tasks for the team Maintain and review comprehensive documentation for engineering and operational processes Conduct audits reporting and governance to ensure compliance with industry standards Identify opportunities for engineering improvements and contribute to analysis and decision-making Respond to platform incidents conduct technical investigations and ensure timely resolution Proactively monitor platform health and performance to ensure optimal service delivery Serve as an escalation point for on-call support providing 24 7 platform support when required Engage with internal teams third parties and customers for technical guidance and support Participate in out-of-hours work and standby coverage as needed Required Skills Experience Minimum 5 years in a senior engineer role managing platform or infrastructure architecture with compliance experience ISO 27001 SOC 2 Robust expertise in Linux any distribution certification preferred AWS IAM VPC EC2 ECS via console CLI certification preferred Terraform certification preferred Ansible for server provisioning Python scripting advantageous Proven experience in troubleshooting systems across virtualized compute networking and storage Experience working within ITIL service management frameworks Familiarity with agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira Confluence and Bitbucket Exposure to Dev-Sec-Fin-Ops practices and principles What We Offer Opportunities for technical growth and leadership development Exposure to complex platform infrastructure and operational challenges Collaboration with high-performing teams and cross-functional stakeholders Competitive rewards and recognition for top talent Job Types Full time Permanent Pay Up to 3 000 000 00 per year Application Question s What is your notice period in number of days Are you comfortable working in UK Shift timings Are you comfortable with providing 24 7 platform support when required Experience DevOps 5 years Required AWS 4 years Preferred Work Location In person
