Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Quality to lead our quality operations in plastic component manufacturing This leadership role requires strong technical expertise a hands-on approach to quality systems and the ability to drive excellence across all stages of production The ideal candidate will align quality goals with customer expectations industry compliance standards and overall business objectives Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all quality functions Quality Assurance QA Quality Control QC in-process inspections and customer quality Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 IATF 16949 and customer-specific standards Oversee and execute PPAP APQP FMEA SPC MSA and CAPA processes Drive proactive quality planning and support New Product Development NPD activities Address and resolve customer complaints through detailed root cause analysis and timely corrective actions Monitor analyze and improve quality KPIs including rejection rates PPM and audit outcomes Maintain robust systems for documentation traceability and audit readiness Collaborate with Production Design and Tooling departments to integrate quality at every stage Mentor and develop a high-performing team of quality professionals Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency gains Key Requirements Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Tool Design Quality Management or Plastics Engineering Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management with at least 5 years in plastic components manufacturing Strong knowledge of automotive consumer plastics manufacturing standards and practices Proficient in using CMMs Hexagon preferred and modern metrology tools In-depth understanding of quality methodologies including 7 QC Tools 8D Fishbone 5 Why Pareto Analysis etc Strong leadership with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration Excellent communication problem-solving and decision-making skills About Protekz Established in 1987 Protekz is a trusted manufacturer of Plastic Injection Moulds and Moulded Components We offer end-to-end product lifecycle solutions from design and mold development to final component production Our facility is equipped with advanced CNC milling EDM and injection molding machines We are ISO 9001 2015 certified and driven by innovation quality and customer satisfaction Job Details Work Schedule General Day Shift Work Type On-site In-person Pay 7 20 000 per annum based on experience Incentives Yearly Bonus Performance-based Incentives Benefits Health Insurance Job Type Full-time Pay 50 000 00 - 60 000 00 per month Perks Health insurance Work Location In person
