Job Title Assistant Manager Manager - Accounts Industry FMCG Location Mumbai - Marol Department Finance Accounts Reports To Head - General Manager Finance Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee key compliance functions including GST and TDS return filings statutory audit coordination and import documentation The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of Indian tax regulations and accounting principles ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to statutory requirements Key Responsibilities 1 GST Compliance Return Filing oPreparation and timely filing of monthly GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B oMonthly reconciliation of GSTR data with books of accounts and resolution of mismatches or discrepancies oKeeping abreast of changes in GST rules and ensuring organizational compliance 2 Annual Audit Coordination oCompilation and preparation of financial statements reports and audit schedules oLiaison with statutory auditors for seamless execution and timely closure of the annual audit oAddressing audit queries and ensuring documentation is complete and accurate 3 TDS Compliance oTimely computation deduction and payment of TDS for salaried and non-salaried payments oFiling of TDS returns such as Form 24Q 26Q etc within statutory deadlines oPreparation and issuance of TDS certificates Form 16 16A to employees and vendors 4 Import Regulations Documentation oEnsure end-to-end compliance with import regulations and customs documentation oVerification and maintenance of import-related documents including Bill of Entry invoices packing lists and duty payments oCoordination with freight forwarders customs clearing agents and internal teams to streamline import operations Key Skills Competencies oStrong working knowledge of GST TDS Indian Accounting Standards and customs regulations oProficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP ZOHO or equivalent oAdvanced Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting oExcellent analytical organizational and communication skills oAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks within deadlines Qualifications oBachelor s or Master s degree in Commerce Accounting Finance oChartered Accountant CA or MBA in Finance preferred oMinimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 60 000 00 - 80 000 00 per month Work Location In person
