- SAP HCM experience with 5 to 9 years in APJ Payroll and Time, with knowledge of Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Indonesia Payroll (experience in at least two additional countries from the APJ pool: Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, India)
- Certified EC/ECP professional with APJ payroll experience
- Experience with AU public sector is preferred
- Minimum of 2-4 end-to-end implementation experiences required
- Knowledge of ESS/MSS, HRSP, and SAP Time module is essential
- SAP payroll configuration for Gross payroll and Net Payroll, Tax Reporter configuration
- Experience in SAP Time Module and SAP HCM configuration, schema development, and writing PCRs
- Expertise in developing payroll functions and operations
- Experience in creating and defining custom operations and rules
- Experience with Year-end activities and support packs implementation
- Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience executing parallel payroll testing
- Extensive experience in compliance reporting for more than one country
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Business Analyst and the client to identify requirements, design enhancements, and functionality to meet user needs
- Provide functional process ownership of multiple business process areas
- Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with clients, internal teams, and project managers to resolve issues
- Perform configuration work to support new and existing functionality
- Responsible for Configuration reviews and act as the resident team expert for all configuration issues
- Serve as the functional integration owner for multiple process areas
- Prepare functionality specifications and deliver to ABAP developers
- Responsible for creating Function Design Documents (FDD) based on Use Case Documents from the Business Analyst
- Develop high-quality solutions based on completed Functional Design Documents
- Review Technical Design Documents (TDD) to ensure requirements are met
- Review unit test plans and quality assurance plans to ensure requirements are met
- Support developers to ensure they remain on target and perform code reviews
- Work with the user community to find the best solutions for customer problems
- Collaborate with ABAP developers and quality assurance teams for new functionality and enhancements
- Perform integration testing to ensure current functionality does not adversely affect existing features
- Ensure knowledge transfer to functional analysts for better utilization of SAP systems
- Mentor junior SAP Functional Analysts
- Oversee SAP projects to assess the impact on the shared instance
- Configure SAP Payroll and Time modules based on business requirements
- Utilize ASAP methodology for each phase of the implementation
- Follow design work, integration testing protocols, change control procedures, and standards
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations
- Identify SAP solution possibilities and discuss them with business users
- Develop a specific SAP solution from Blueprinting, Configuration, Testing, and Production Support
- Develop technical specifications for system enhancements
