We are seeking a skilled Mobile Automation Engineer with expertise in Appium to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application testing and automation, with a passion for ensuring high-quality user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Perform regression testing to ensure application stability and performance after new releases.
- Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework and scripts.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-12 years of experience in mobile automation testing with Appium.
- Strong understanding of mobile application development and testing methodologies.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to analyze requirements and develop test plans and test cases accordingly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
