Role & responsibilities

- Expertise in Configuration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Control-M.
- Hands on in installing, upgrading, and configuring Control-M version 9.x or higher
- Collaborate with application owners, developers, and production support to define job scheduling based on business requirements.
- Perform upgrades, patches and system enhancements as necessary to keep the environment up to date.
- Implement complex scheduling requirements and setting up Control-M calendars.
- Maintain Control-M/EM, Control-M/Servers and agents in the on-prem and in cloud workplace.
- Administrator all the Control-M system components to work seamlessly.
- Sound knowledge of Control-M modules/Application plugins and APIs.
- Plan, implement and participate in Disaster Recovery exercise.
- Implement changes tasks and incidents in the support queues and driving problems to resolution within SLA.
- Perform root cause analysis of problems encountered.
- Understanding of ITIL framework and processes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Eg.Shell, Perl, Python) for automation tasks (Preferred)
- BMC Control-M Administration Training/Certification/Accreditation (Preferred).
- Work in 24/7 environment with on-call rotation.
