- Oversee and ensure the organization's full compliance with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements, especially those prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)
- Develop, implement, and monitor a robust compliance framework tailored for NBFC operations
- Ensure timely reporting to regulators and handle all regulatory inspections, audits, and reviews
- Advise the Board and senior management on emerging compliance risks and regulatory developments
- Design and enforce company-wide compliance policies, processes, and controls
- Conduct regular compliance training and awareness programs across all departments
- Review and update compliance manuals, internal control mechanisms, and risk mitigation frameworks
- Monitor adherence to RBI's Fair Practices Code, KYC/AML guidelines, outsourcing norms, and governance standards
- Liaise with legal teams, internal auditors, and external consultants to strengthen the compliance workplace
- Maintain strong documentation and audit trails for all regulatory correspondences and filings
