As a Principal Engineer in Clean Water Modelling, you will play a pivotal role in delivering AMP programme outcomes, helping clients optimise network performance, enhance resilience, and meet regulatory and customer service objectives.

Key duties include

Provide technical leadership in clean water network modelling across UK water utility projects.
Lead development, calibration,



and validation of hydraulic models for large-scale clean water distribution networks.
Deliver modelling studies aligned with AMP programmes and regulatory performance requirements.
Undertake and review
Demand forecasting and distribution input analysis
Network capacity assessments and hydraulic performance evaluations
Pressure management and operational optimisation studies
Leakage analysis and reduction strategies
Network resilience and outage scenario analysis
Lead optioneering and system optimisation, including network reinforcement, rezoning, and operational improvements.
Support development of
WRMP (Water Resource Management Plans) inputs
Investment planning and business cases (e.g., PR submissions)
Prepare and review technical reports, modelling documentation, and analysis outputs in line with UK water industry standards.
Ensure modelling outputs align with regulatory frameworks (OFWAT, DWI, Setting Agency).
Establish and enforce modelling standards, QA
