The MEP Design Engineer will be responsible for delivering HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection system designs for residential and commercial developments. The role requires solid technical expertise, client-facing capability, compliance with statutory codes, and effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.Experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MEP Services Design
Design and develop HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems in line with project requirements.
Perform detailed engineering calculations, including:
HVAC load calculations using HAP / IES
Ventilation calculations
Plumbing water demand and storage tank capacity calculations
Fire protection tank sizing
Pump head and capacity calculations
Prepare system layouts, schematics, design reports,
and technical documentation at various project stages.
Codes, Standards & Compliance
Ensure all designs comply with:
IS Codes
National Building Code (NBC)
NFPA Standards
CFO / Fire Authority requirements
Applicable local by-laws and statutory regulations
Support authority submissions, approvals, and compliance documentation
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Perform a client-facing role, leading technical discussions and design presentations.
Manage and lead client interaction for technical delivery, ensuring design intent and expectations are met.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, and internal teams for integrated and clash-free design solutions.
Documentation & Communication
Prepare design reports, calculation reports, and technical narratives.
Develop and deliver technical presentations for client reviews and coordination meetings.
