Backend Engineering Intern
5–6 months · Real production systems · PPO track
Most internships hand you a toy project on the side. This one doesn’t. You’ll ship code into the same backend that runs AI defect detection for the world’s largest chip factories — alongside the engineers and founders who built it. You’ll write real APIs, solve real latency and scale problems, and see your work reach global semiconductor manufacturers within weeks, not quarters.
And you’ll do it in one of the most AI-native engineering teams you’ll find anywhere. We don’t just build AI products — we build AI agents that write, review, and test our own code. As an intern here, using Claude Code / Codex and agentic workflows won’t be a novelty; it’ll be how you work every day. You’ll leave months ahead of peers who are still writing everything by hand.
What You’ll Do
Design and build backend APIs and services on our AI platform — code that runs in production, used by global semiconductor manufacturers.
Build scalable, low-latency,
high-performance systems and learn what “production-grade” actually means.
Work on multi-tenant isolation and access control for a platform where hard data separation between customers is non-negotiable.
Work shoulder to shoulder with senior engineers and founders on real customer problems.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, and get thoughtful reviews that make you sharper every week.
Use AI agents (Claude Code / Codex) to automate the boring parts and move faster — and learn to build with them, not just use them.
Learn modern software engineering the way high-growth startups actually do it: rapid, pragmatic, high-ownership.
