Role & responsibilities

- Lead and execute AGV assembly activities, including electrical and mechanical assembly.
- Ensure AGV assembly is completed as per defined processes, quality standards and specifications.
- Configure AGVs and perform static testing before dispatch.
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager, Store, Quality and Dispatch teams for smooth assembly operations.
- Develop and maintain AGV assembly layouts, workstations, tools and equipment.
- Continuously improve assembly methods, workstation layout and tooling for better productivity and quality.
- Train and guide electrical and mechanical assembly technicians on AGV assembly processes.
- Coordinate with Alstef Group AGV experts for knowledge transfer, technical support and assembly execution.
- Develop, implement and maintain AGV assembly processes, work instructions and SOPs.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures during AGV assembly, testing and handling activities.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of electrical, mechanical and electromechanical assembly issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of AGV assembly activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,



Mechatronics or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- 1-12 years of relevant experience in AGV, AMR, robotics, industrial automation, material handling systems or similar electromechanical products.
- Strong hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical assembly of AGVs or equivalent automation equipment.
- Positive understanding of electromechanical systems, assembly processes, tools and equipment.
- Experience in AGV configuration, testing, installation and troubleshooting will be preferred.
- Experience in setting up and improving assembly workstations, layouts and tooling.
- Experience in developing and implementing SOPs, work instructions and assembly processes.
- Prior experience in leading, training or managing assembly technicians is preferred.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Stores and Dispatch.
- Good understanding of industrial safety and quality standards.
- Good spoken and written English communication skills.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in AGV/AMR, robotics, warehouse automation or material handling systems will be preferred.
- Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing and assembly environment.
