Secondary Platform: Microsoft Power Platform

Role Overview

The requirement is for a senior RPA Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Automation Anywhere A360, capable of independently owning the end-to-end RPA development lifecycle—from process understanding and solution design through development, testing, deployment, run support, and optimization.

The ideal candidate combines deep RPA technical skills with strong design thinking, API-led automation, Gen AI and prompt engineering, and Power Platform integration, delivering scalable, secure, and maintainable automations with minimal supervision.

Desired Experience Summary

- 4+ years of hands-on RPA development experience
- Strong Automation Anywhere A360 expertise (mandatory)
- Microsoft Power Platform experience (strong advantage)
- Experience automating web, desktop, API-based, and PDF/document-driven processes
- Hands-on exposure to Gen AI, prompt engineering, SQL, OCR, and scripting
- Proven ability to learn quickly, adapt to current technologies, and continuously innovate

Core Technical Requirements

Automation Anywhere A360 (Must-Have)

- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing automations using Automation Anywhere A360
- Strong expertise in:
- Bot Creator, Bot Runner, Control Room administration
- Task Bots and reusable automation components
- Workload Management and queue-based processing

- Experience across the full RPA lifecycle:

- Solution Design
- Development
- Testing (Unit, System, UAT support)




- Deployment
- Run Support, Incident Management, and Maintenance

- Ability to design automations that are:

- Scalable
- Reusable
- Secure
- Easy to maintain

- Strong debugging, exception handling, and root-cause analysis skills
- Experience following RPA governance standards, best practices, and code reviews

Microsoft Power Platform (Secondary – Strong Preference)

- Hands-on experience with:
- Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop flows)
- Power Apps (basic to intermediate)
- Power BI (data consumption and automation triggers – good to have)

- Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with RPA bots
- Understanding of Power Platform security, environments, and connectors

API Automation & System Integration (Critical)

- Strong experience automating REST and SOAP APIs
- Ability to:
- Implement authentication mechanisms (OAuth, tokens, certificates)
- Handle JSON and XML payloads
- Design retry logic, error handling, and logging

- Experience integrating RPA with enterprise systems, databases, and cloud services

Gen AI & Prompt Engineering (Critical)

- Hands-on experience integrating Gen AI capabilities into RPA solutions
- Robust prompt engineering skills for automation use cases, including:
- Data extraction from unstructured content
- Document classification and summarization
- Decision support and validation workflows

- Ability to design prompts that:

- Produce structured and predictable outputs (JSON, tables, key-value pairs)
- Minimize hallucinations through validation and control logic
- Use multi-step and chained prompts where required

- Understanding of AI limitations and responsible use in production automations
