Role Responsibilities-
- Design, execute, and automate test cases for embedded automotive software modules including CAN, UDS, AUTOSAR, and diagnostic protocols.
- Validate functional and non-functional requirements across ECUs, HMI, and vehicle network systems using HIL/SIL test benches.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, CAPL, or Vector tools to ensure continuous regression coverage.
- Collaborate with firmware and system engineers to reproduce, isolate, and triage defects-tracking them through JIRA or equivalent issue trackers.
- Conduct static code analysis, memory leak checks, and timing validation for safety-critical automotive applications.
- Author test plans, reports, and traceability matrices aligned with ISO 26262 and ASPICE compliance workflows.
