Role Summary

Provides L3 operational support for enterprise applications running on JBoss/WildFly, Apache, Tomcat, and container platforms. The role focuses on availability, performance, monitoring, and incident resolution in 247 production environments, with escalation to L3 for complex design issues.

Core Skills (MustHave)

- Application support on JBoss / WildFly / Tomcat / Apache
- Handson experience with containers and Kubernetes / Red Hat OpenShift
- Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Application server configuration & tuning
(Heap size, thread dumps, heap dumps, GC logs)
- Strong troubleshooting across application, OS, and container layers
- Unix/Linux administration and commandline skills
- Knowledge of SSL certificates, SSO concepts, and networking basics
- Willingness to work in 247 shift support environment

- Shell scripting
- Basic SQL / MySQL query knowledge
- Exposure to Pentaho
- Positive communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L3 application support for middleware and application platforms
- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of application servers
- Monitor applications and services; configure alerts and dashboards
- Perform application performance tuning and issue remediation
- Support containerized workloads on Kubernetes / OpenShift
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure application availability, stability, and SLA adherence
- Handle incidents, service requests, and change activities
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
- Owns daytoday stability and support execution
