Job Summary:

The Manager (Plant Operations) will oversee and manage the daily operations of our dairy plant, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality dairy products while maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Experience & Skill set:

- Candidate should have minimum 15 years of relevant experience, out of which at least 5 years in Managerial cadre within the dairy / food processing industry, with a track record of successfully managing plant operations.
- In-depth knowledge of dairy processing technologies, equipment, and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic workplace.
- Software skill: Conversant in MS Office and ERP module related to Production.

Job description:

- Ensure to achieve Production Planning, Manpower Planning and Maintenance of Quality as per company standards.




- Implement and optimize operational processes to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and optimize resources including manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Responsible for maintaining all the process equipment and Service equipment to ensure continuous trouble-free performance.
- Responsible for controlling further processing, delivery, or installation of machinery
- Ensure safety and discipline, Good housekeeping and cleanliness
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing operational enhancements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including quality control, procurement, and marketing to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure maintenance of all records, sending MIS in time and attending to Internal Auditor queries.
- Implementation of guidelines given as per GMP, ISO, etc.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and identify areas for cost-saving initiatives.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
