Job Title: Deputy Manager Talent Acquisition

Position Summary

The Deputy Manager Talent Acquisition will be responsible for leading end-to-end recruitment activities for Medical Coding positions across multiple specialties and experience levels. The role requires expertise in sourcing, screening, stakeholder management, recruitment planning, and achieving hiring targets within defined timelines while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Medical Coding roles including Apprentice Coders, Junior Coders, Senior Coders, Auditors, Quality Analysts, Team Leads, and Managers.
- Develop and execute hiring strategies to attract qualified medical coding professionals.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media platforms, employee referrals, walk-ins, campus drives, and recruitment agencies.
- Conduct initial screening and assess candidates for qualification, certification, specialty experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and business stakeholders.
- Ensure timely offer rollout, negotiation, documentation, and onboarding support.

Stakeholder Management

- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and hiring priorities.
- Conduct regular recruitment review meetings and provide hiring status updates.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless recruitment delivery.





Recruitment Planning & Analytics

- Monitor recruitment metrics such as:
- Time-to-fill
- Cost-per-hire
- Offer-to-join ratio
- Source effectiveness
- Hiring SLA adherence

- Prepare recruitment dashboards and management reports.
- Drive process improvements to enhance hiring efficiency and candidate quality.

Team Management

- Guide and mentor recruiters within the TA team.
- Support team members in sourcing and closing critical positions.
- Monitor recruiter productivity and target achievement.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

- Promote employer branding initiatives across social and skilled platforms.
- Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Participate in recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry networking events.

Compliance & Process Governance

- Ensure recruitment processes comply with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within ATS and HR systems.
- Support audits and recruitment documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.

Experience

- 6-10 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hiring experience in Medical Coding recruitment.
- Experience recruiting for specialties such as:
- HHC & HCC Coding
- IPDRG
- OP Coding
- Surgery Coding
- Risk Adjustment
- ED Coding
- E&M; Coding

- Experience in managing volume hiring and niche coding requirements.
