Branch Manager Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Sales Target
- Achieve branch-level premium, policy and revenue targets.
- Drive new business and improve productivity.
- Track daily/weekly/monthly sales performance.

- Team Management

- Recruit, train and develop sales managers/agents.
- Set individual targets and monitor performance.
- Conduct regular reviews and motivate the team.

- Distribution Management
Depending on the company, a BM may handle channels such as:

- Agency
- Direct/Employee channel
- Bancassurance
- Broking/Corporate channels
- Loyalty or other specialized channels

- Customer & Business Development

- Build relationships with customers and business partners.
- Generate leads and identify current business opportunities.
- Improve customer retention and persistency.

- Branch Operations

- Ensure smooth day-to-day branch functioning.
- Coordinate with underwriting, operations, claims and other departments.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely processing.

Preferred candidate profile

The candidates should handle a pay roll team.
