Position: Desktop L1 Engineer

Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts supporting 247 warehouse operations, including weekends and night shifts as per business requirements.

Role Summary
We are looking for hands-on Desktop L1 Engineers to support warehouse IT operations. The role demands robust technical expertise in end-user computing, warehouse IT devices, basic network support, and IT asset management to ensure seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and provide break-fix support for desktops, laptops, thin clients, and docking stations.
- Support and troubleshoot barcode scanners, handheld terminals (HHT), thermal printers, label printers, laser printers, weighing scale interfaces, and other warehouse IT devices.
- Perform L1 troubleshooting for LAN, Wi-Fi, network switches, access points, structured cabling, patch panels, and ISP last-mile connectivity.
- Execute passive network activities including LAN patching, port patching, patch panel management, rack housekeeping, cable dressing, and structured cabling verification.
- Perform LAN cable testing, network point validation, and wireless (Wi-Fi)



signal strength and coverage testing to ensure network readiness and stability.
- Diagnose and replace hardware components such as RAM, SSD/HDD, SMPS, keyboards, mouse, monitors, adapters, power supplies, and other IT peripherals.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems, device drivers, Microsoft 365, antivirus, and enterprise applications.
- Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) activities for end-user devices and warehouse IT infrastructure.
- Manage IT assets including asset tagging, inventory management, stock reconciliation, inward and outward movement, lifecycle management, and periodic audits.
- Log, track, and resolve incidents through ITSM tools while meeting defined SLA commitments.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and ISPs for hardware replacement, network incidents, and service restoration.
- Maintain maximum availability of warehouse IT infrastructure with minimum operational downtime.

Preferred Profile

- 25 years of hands-on experience in desktop support within warehouse, logistics, quick commerce, e-commerce, or manufacturing environments.
- Practical experience in supporting warehouse IT infrastructure and managing large-scale IT assets.
- Early joiners will be preferred.
