Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, invoices, and payment records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and outstanding receivables/payables.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
- Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and information.
- Prepare MIS reports and other management reports as required.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies.




- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, auditors, and internal departments.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in Tally/ERP systems and advanced Excel will be an advantage.Role & responsibilities
