Job Title: Live-In Carer

Job Summary

As a Live-in Carer, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, companionship, and household tasks to ensure the client's well-being, dignity, and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.

- Support mobility, transfers, walking, and physiotherapy exercises.

- Prompt and supervise prescribed medications.

- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring food/fluid intake.

- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well - being.

- Perform light housekeeping duties, laundry, bed making, and maintain a clean living setting.

- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with shopping or errands.

- Maintain accurate care records and report changes in clients' health.

- Follow infection control, health & safety, and confidentiality guidelines.





- Work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.

Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent to MQF Level 3) is mandatory.

- Dataflow verification is mandatory.

- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Nursing Assistant, Live-In Carer, or Healthcare Assistant is preferred.

- Knowledge of patient care, infection control, and personal hygiene practices.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work independently.

- Physically fit to assist clients with mobility and daily care activities.

- Willing to work live-in shifts and provide flexible support as required.
