Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Operations / Production Support Engineer to join our cloud platform engineering team. This role focuses on maintaining the health, availability, and performance of our production systems during the 9 PM 6 AM IST shift, including incident response, monitoring, and coordination with the core DevOps/Engineering teams.

Preferred candidate profile:

- 2-5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Production Support for large-scale AWS environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services across compute, networking, storage, security, and serverless (e.g., EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, S3, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, WAF).
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and/or AWS CDK)



and ability to debug environment configuration issues.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git-based workflows, build and deploy tools) and troubleshooting deployment failures.
- Positive exposure to monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, ideally including CloudWatch, plus experience participating in incident response/on-call workflows.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals in AWS: VPC, subnets, routing, NAT Gateway, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect/VPN, security groups, and NACLs.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a structured approach to incident triage and debugging.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, especially incident updates and shift handovers.
- Willingness and ability to work a fixed night shift (9 PM 6 AM IST), including weekends and holidays as per support rotation schedule.
