Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Design Manager to lead our design team and drive high-quality, user-centered design across our products and experiences. The role combines people leadership, design strategy, hands-on problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about building strong design teams, developing designers, establishing effective design processes, and partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product/UX/UI designers.
- Define and drive the design vision, strategy, principles, and roadmap.
- Ensure consistency and quality across user experiences and design deliverables.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to shape product strategy and priorities.
- Facilitate design reviews, critiques, workshops, and discovery sessions.
- Establish scalable design processes, workflows, and collaboration practices.
- Balance user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Provide clear feedback and coaching to help designers grow in their careers.
- Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team development.
- Champion user research, usability testing, accessibility, and data-informed design decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate design rationale, trade-offs, and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall design system and product experience.
- Track design impact through qualitative and quantitative measures.
- Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications





- 6+ years of experience in UX/UI, Product Design, or a related design field.
- 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring designers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, problem-solving, and design execution.
- Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of UX research, interaction design, visual design, and design systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience managing multidisciplinary or distributed design teams.
- Experience working on complex B2B/SaaS, consumer, or enterprise products.
- Experience building or scaling design systems and design processes.
- Familiarity with analytics, experimentation, and product metrics.
- Experience with tools such as Figma, FigJam, Jira, and related collaboration platforms.
- Experience hiring and building high-performing design teams.
