We re looking for a Global Accounting Tax RDC Lead (Regional Delivery Center). Shaping the vision for the service delivery across all the RDCs. Defining and executing the global practice strategy by driving operational excellence, innovation and technical background across RDCs.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Global AT Service Strategy and Governance
- Define, maintain, and enhance the global AT service framework, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality across all markets.
- Oversee the alignment of deliverables, terminology, and pricing models across RDCs
Lead and coordinate RDCs
- Establish, expand, and guide Regional Delivery Centers (RDCs) to ensure scalable, high-performing AT delivery teams.
- Coordinate cross-region service capabilities.
Ensure Operational Excellence Across RDC AT Services
- Oversee standard AT processes across procure to pay, order to cash, and record to report functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness,
and adherence to SLAs.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
Strengthen Quality, Compliance, and Risk Management
- Ensure global compliance frameworks are applied consistently across RDCs.
- Oversee global coordination for audits and ensure high quality workpapers and reconciliations.
Act as Primary Global Partner to Commercial, Solutioning, and Market Teams
- Support global solution architects by aligning AT capabilities with client proposals, RFPs, and global solution models.
- Engage with Pricing Team.
Develop Talent and Build a Global AT Community
- Mentor and elevate AT leaders across markets, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and promoting knowledge sharing.
- Build competency roadmaps and provide coaching to delivery teams, ensuring a consistent AT skill baseline across all regions.
Key Requirements
- Extensive senior leadership experience (12+ years) in Accounting Tax (AT), with a strong track record operating across multiple jurisdictions and global environments
- Proven experience designing and executing global operating models, including establishing or scaling Shared Services / Regional Delivery Centres (RDCs) / Centres of Excellence
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transformation programmes, including:
- Transitioning work across regions
- Driving standardisation, efficiency, and cost optimisation
- Managing complex, cross-border change initiatives
- Strong background in multi-client service delivery models, ideally within a Big 4 or professional services environment (or equivalent outsourcing organisation)
- Deep understanding of end-to-end AT processes
- Robust expertise in global tax compliance, statutory reporting,
and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience defining and governing global service frameworks, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across regions, including standardised methodologies, KPIs, and SLAs
- Robust commercial acumen, with the ability to support and influence
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior leadership and global clients
- Proven leadership in building and developing high-performing global teams, including:
- Managing senior leaders across regions
- Establishing capability frameworks and talent pipelines
- Driving a global community of practice
- Solid understanding of finance technology and ERP landscapes (e.g. SAP, Oracle), with the ability to partner effectively with technology and transformation teams
