Job Summary: The JD Edwards System Development Engineer designs, develops, and maintains technical solutions within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne platform, translating business requirements into robust extensions, integrations, and automated workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop JD Edwards solutions including business functions, processing options, event rules and interactive/batch applications using JDE Object Management Workbench (OMW)

• Build and maintain integrations between JD Edwards and third-party systems using Orchestrator, AIS Server, REST/SOAP web services and middleware platforms

• Develop and support BI Publisher reports, RDA reports, and custom UBEs

• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and participate in system and regression testing cycles

• Manage and deploy objects through JDE change management and package build processes

• Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications

• Support CNC activities as needed, including system configuration, patching and environment management

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test and production environments

• Maintain technical documentation including design specs, integration maps and runbooks

Required Skills & Qualifications





• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field preferred

• 3–5 years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience

• Proficiency in C-based business functions, NER (Named Event Rules), and ER (Event Rules) development

• Experience with Orchestrator Studio, AIS Server, and RESTful API development

• Familiarity with SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2) and database query optimization

• Experience with JDE package builds, OMW, and change management processes

• Knowledge of CNC administration is a plus Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development, customization, and integrations

• Proficiency in CNC, Orchestrator, UBE, BI Publisher, and EDI concepts • Experience with SQL, database management, and enterprise application support

• Knowledge of API integrations, workflow automation, and system troubleshooting

• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and change management processes

• Experience with the design/creation/modification of labels is preferred.

• Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail and stakeholder communication skills
