Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing & Data Cloud Specialist to lead the implementation, optimisation and ongoing management of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud ecosystem. The successful candidate will design scalable marketing automation capabilities, customer journeys, audience segmentation, data governance frameworks and lifecycle marketing processes while partnering with marketing, CRM and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the configuration, implementation and optimisation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Configure and support Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities including segmentation, audience creation, customer data management and identity resolution.
- Build and optimise customer journeys using Journey Builder across acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention stages.
- Develop marketing automations using Automation Studio, including data synchronisation, triggered communications and campaign deployment workflows.
- Design audience segmentation, customer lifecycle campaigns and reusable marketing automation frameworks.
- Create responsive branded email templates, modular content components and reusable campaign assets.
- Improve customer database quality through data cleansing, governance, segmentation and quality review activities.
- Document technical processes, governance standards, best practices and handover materials for long-term platform management.
- Act as the subject matter expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and marketing automation initiatives.
- Work closely with marketing stakeholders,



CRM teams and external technology partners to deliver agreed implementation outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
- Hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud implementation or administration experience.
- Strong expertise in Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder and Email Studio.
- Strong SQL, audience segmentation and customer data architecture capabilities.
- Experience designing and implementing lifecycle marketing journeys and automation programs.
- Responsive HTML email development and template creation experience.
- Solid data cleansing, data quality management and governance experience.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable MarTech solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams.
- Experience managing end-to-end Marketing Cloud implementation, optimisation and BAU platform management.

Preferred / Desirable Experience

- Salesforce Financial Services Cloud experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in financial services, wealth management, banking, insurance or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Salesforce certifications related to Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud or CRM are advantageous.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams is preferred.
