• Key Responsibility:

- Handle procurement of sheet metal parts, Forging, turning, Casting (Aluminum and Zink), raw materials, consumables, and engineering items.
- Develop and maintain a reliable local vendor base for manufacturing and operational requirements.
- Conduct vendor identification, evaluation, development, and performance monitoring.
- Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely procurement and supply of materials as per production planning requirements.
- Coordinate with production and planning teams to avoid material shortages and line stoppages.
- Monitor market trends, supplier pricing, and alternate sourcing opportunities for cost optimization.
- Maintain proper documentation related to purchase orders, quotations, agreements, and vendor records.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.




- Work closely with NPD teams for new part development and approval processes.
- Maintain inventory control by coordinating with stores and minimizing excess stock.
- Support cost reduction initiatives through effective negotiation and value engineering.

• Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of local buying and procurement processes.
- Experience in vendor development and supplier management.
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and turning component manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Robust negotiation and commercial skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP, or purchase management software.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MIS preparation, and procurement reporting.
