Role & responsibilities

- Manage installation, maintenance, calibration, and servicing of medical equipment.
- Ensure all biomedical equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors and service providers for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain equipment records, service reports, AMC/CMC details, and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
- Attend equipment breakdown complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor equipment performance and support departments in the proper use of medical devices.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain inventory and records of biomedical equipment and spare parts.
- Support procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of new medical equipment.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 25 years of relevant experience in a hospital/healthcare environment preferred.
- Good technical knowledge of medical equipment.
- Robust troubleshooting and vendor coordination skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
