Role & responsibilities

1. Accounts & Financial Operations

- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and related financial documentation.
- Assist in sales reconciliation and preparation of periodic MIS reports.
- Support payment tracking, receivable monitoring, and financial record maintenance.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team for transaction verification and reporting.
- Process domestic and international sales orders across multiple sales channels.
- Monitor order status and ensure timely processing and fulfilment.
- Maintain sales order records, inventory reports, and sales registers.
- Update weekly sales reports, inventory lists, and reconciliation sheets.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales, and Logistics teams to resolve order-related issues.
- Support order processing across various online marketplaces whenever required.

1. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Maintain sales order books, inventory records, and other departmental MIS.
- Ensure data accuracy and timely submission of reports.

1. Other Responsibilities

- Support the Accounts department in day-to-day operational activities.




- Assist in process improvements and undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com (Preferred)
- Candidates from Commerce background will be given preference.

Experience

- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts, Sales Accounting, Order Processing, Finance Operations, or Commercial Accounts.
- Experience in handling sales transactions, reconciliations, invoicing, or order processing will be preferred.
- Exposure to international business operations or e-commerce platforms will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
- Positive understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and sales accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Tally, or any ERP/Accounting Software.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or other online marketplace platforms.
- Experience in inventory reconciliation and sales reporting.
- Familiarity with international order processing will be an added advantage.
