Main Activity:
Support manufacturing operations by ensuring products and processes consistently meet
quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives,
resolve quality issues, and maintain compliance with the organizations quality management
system.
Role Purpose:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoring product and process quality, identifying
opportunities for improvement, leading root cause investigations, and implementing
corrective and preventive actions. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to
achieve quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives while ensuring
compliance with applicable quality standards.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and
specifications.
Conduct product, process, and system audits and ensure timely closure of audit
findings.
Investigate internal, supplier, and customer quality issues using structured
problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.).
Lead and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of
quality issues.
Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval
Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Control Plan
activities.
Analyze process capability and quality performance using Statistical Process Control
(SPC) and other quality tools.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Supplier Quality
teams to improve process capability and product quality.
Ensure compliance with the organizations Quality Management System and




relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (where applicable).
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, reports, and
performance metrics.
Support customer visits, quality audits, and resolution of customer complaints.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve first-
pass yield, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Provide guidance and training to production personnel on quality requirements,
inspection methods, and best practices.
Monitor key quality KPIs and recommend actions to achieve departmental and
business objectives.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and company policies while
performing quality activities.
