Role Overview

Looking for an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to drive channel strategy, BTL activations, in-store visibility, promotional programs, distributor/dealer engagement, vendor management and trade marketing budgets.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop annual & monthly trade marketing calendars aligned with business and regional sales targets.

Drive channel-specific activations, loyalty initiatives and customer marketing programs.

Plan promotional campaigns during festive and seasonal periods to drive primary and secondary sales.

Manage BTL activities, in-store branding and POSM planning & execution.

Improve Share of Shelf and retail visibility.

Manage New Store Openings (NSO), paid visibility contracts and promotional compliance.

Design channel incentive schemes and distributor/dealer engagement programs.

Drive influencer/contractor loyalty initiatives.

Analyze market intelligence, competitor activities and trade feedback.

Coordinate with Brand Management, Sales Operations, Supply Chain and Field teams.





Manage trade marketing & BTL budgets, ensuring ROI and cost efficiency.

Manage agencies, printers and artwork vendors, including commercial negotiations.

Use SAP, Ariba and CRM/ERP tools for purchasing workflows and requisition tracking.

Lead, mentor and coach field execution teams, merchandisers and trade executives.

Ideal Candidate

10+ years of relevant experience

Graduation / MBA preferred

Multi-channel experience across GT, MT and Retail/E-commerce

Experience in FMCG, Consumer Durables, Paints or allied industries preferred

Willingness to travel extensively
