Role & responsibilities

1. Procurement & Sourcing

- Identify and evaluate suppliers for mechanical components, raw materials, and equipment.

- Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with company policies.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.

2. Vendor Management

- Develop and maintain solid relationships with suppliers.

- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

- Conduct vendor audits and assessments when required

3.Technical Coordination

-Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand technical specifications.

-Ensure purchased items meet mechanical design and quality requirements.





-Provide technical support in resolving procurement-related issues.

4. Cost & Inventory Control

-Analyze market trends to achieve cost savings.

-Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

-Track and report procurement KPIs (cost, quality, delivery timelines).

Qualification of the requisition:

- Position Title: Purchase Engineer
- Required Skills: Vendor Development, Material sourcing, SAP ERP knowledge, Negotiation and communication skills
- Experience Level : 02 TO 04 Years
- Education : B.E MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL
