Job Purpose:
To provide effective, engaging, and concept-driven instruction in Chemistry as per CBSE curriculum, enabling students to develop scientific thinking, practical skills, and solid academic performance.
Key Responsibilities:Academic Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry according to CBSE syllabus and guidelines
Prepare annual, monthly, and daily lesson plans
Deliver theory and practical lessons effectively
Design worksheets, assignments, projects, and lab manuals
Conduct periodic tests, practical exams, and internal assessments
Evaluate answer sheets and maintain academic records
Provide remedial teaching and enrichment for advanced learners
Integrate competency-based and experiential learning (NEP 2020)
Laboratory Management
Plan and conduct chemistry practicals safely
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals
Maintain laboratory equipment and stock registers
Follow all safety rules and CBSE lab norms
Classroom & Student Management
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning workplace
Use digital tools, simulations, charts, and models
Encourage scientific inquiry and problem-solving
Prepare students for board examinations (Class X & XII)
Administrative & Co-Curricular Duties
Maintain lesson plans, attendance, and assessment records
Participate in staff meetings, training, and workshops
Assist in science exhibitions, olympiads, and competitions
Communicate student progress with parents during PTMs
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Chemistry
B.Ed. (Mandatory for CBSE)
CTET/TET qualified (Preferred)
Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools
(Freshers may apply for TGT roles)
Skills & Competencies:
Solid subject knowledge and explanation skills
Familiarity with CBSE exam patterns and mar
