We are seeking an experienced and proactive **Fire Officer with 8 years of professional experience** in fire prevention, emergency response, fire protection systems, safety inspections, and emergency preparedness. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with applicable fire and safety regulations, conducting fire risk assessments, and leading emergency response activities.

## Key Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and maintain fire prevention and emergency response procedures.

* Conduct regular inspections of fire protection and firefighting equipment, including fire extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, fire pumps, sprinklers, alarms, and emergency systems.

* Ensure all fire protection systems are operational, tested, and maintained as per applicable standards.

* Conduct fire risk assessments and identify potential fire hazards across the facility.

* Coordinate and lead emergency response activities during fire, evacuation, and other emergencies.

* Organize regular **fire drills, emergency evacuation drills, and mock drills**.

* Train employees, security personnel, and emergency response teams on fire prevention and emergency procedures.

* Maintain records of fire inspections, equipment testing, drills, training, incidents, and corrective actions.

* Investigate fire-related incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend preventive measures.

* Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for repair and preventive maintenance of fire protection systems.

* Ensure proper access to emergency exits,



fire equipment, fire hydrants, assembly points, and emergency routes.

* Monitor hot-work activities, including welding, cutting, and grinding, and ensure appropriate fire safety controls and permits are implemented.

* Support the preparation and review of emergency response plans and business continuity arrangements.

* Liaise with local fire authorities, emergency services, auditors, and regulatory agencies when required.

* Ensure compliance with applicable **fire safety legislation, company policies, and relevant national/international standards**.

* Lead and supervise fire and emergency response personnel where applicable.

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fire and safety inspection reports.

* Recommend improvements to fire protection systems, emergency procedures, and workplace safety practices.

## Required Qualifications

* Diploma/Degree in **Fire & Safety, Fire Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related discipline**.

* Minimum **8 years of relevant experience** in fire and safety operations.

* Relevant Fire & Safety certifications are preferred.

* Good knowledge of fire protection systems, emergency response procedures, and fire prevention practices.





* Knowledge of applicable fire and occupational safety regulations and standards.

* Experience in conducting fire drills, risk assessments, inspections, and emergency response training.
