Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of plant machinery, equipment, utilities, and electrical/mechanical systems. The candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and maintaining maintenance records.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Monitor the condition and performance of production machinery to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
- Attend machine breakdowns and ensure quick resolution to reduce production loss.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, spare parts, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with the Production team to plan maintenance activities without affecting production schedules.
- Identify recurring equipment problems and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper availability and inventory of critical maintenance spares.
- Support installation, commissioning, and servicing of new machines and equipment.




- Ensure machines and equipment are maintained as per safety and operational standards.
- Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for specialized maintenance work.
- Maintain maintenance checklists, reports, and equipment history records.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety and maintenance procedures.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance practices.
- Solid troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC, sensors, motors, drives, control panels, hydraulics, and pneumatics will be preferred.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning and breakdown analysis.
- Ability to read basic mechanical/electrical drawings.
- Positive problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in injection moulding machines, CNC/VMC machines, compressors, hydraulic systems, electrical panels, and other manufacturing equipment will be preferred.
