Restaurant F&B; Service – Job Description

Position: F&B; Service Staff / Waiter / Restaurant Service Associate

Job Summary:
Responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards.
- Set up and clear tables before, during, and after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining and service areas.
- Handle guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.
- Prepare and present bills and process payments when required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.




- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Support the team during busy periods and special events.

Required Skills:

- Positive communication and customer-service skills.
- Polite, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Teamwork and time-management skills.
- Good personal hygiene and grooming.
- Previous restaurant/hotel experience is an advantage.

Education:
High school or hospitality-related qualification preferred.
