We re looking for a Japanese Language Expert on a contractual basis (6 months to start with) to join our team and contribute to a cutting-edge voice assistant project.

Start Date: Late July to early August

Availability: Full time (8 hours/day)

Location: Remote (Work from home)

What You ll Do:

- Enhance NLP components with linguistic expertise in Japanese grammar, sentence formation, and culturally relevant expressions.
- Curate and annotate Japanese datasets for training speech recognition models.
- Analyze audio samples to provide feedback on accent, tone, and intent.
- Conduct quality checks to resolve language-specific issues.

What We re Looking For:
- Native proficiency in Japanese, with strong English communication skills.
- Expertise in Japanese grammar, sentence structure, and cultural nuances, with a focus on computational linguistics.
- Experience in automatic speech recognition (ASR) and collaborating with data scientists or ML engineers.
