Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Merchandiser is responsible for end-to-end order execution—from buyer communication and costing to production follow-up and shipment—ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and profitability in kidswear manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Buyer Communication & Order Handling

- Act as main contact between buyer and factory.

- Handle inquiries, sampling approvals, and order confirmations.

2. Product Development & Sampling

- Coordinate proto, fit, and PP samples.

- Track approvals and feedback.

3. Costing & Order Booking

- Prepare costing and manage order booking with T&A.;

4. Fabric & Trim Coordination

- Ensure timely availability and approvals.

5. Production Planning & Follow-up





- Monitor production and timelines.

6. Quality & Compliance

- Ensure buyer standards and inspections.

7. Shipment & Documentation

- Manage packing and shipping documents.

8. Problem Solving

- Resolve delays and escalate issues.

9. Reporting

- Maintain T&A;, order sheets, trackers.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of kidswear, fabrics, trims

- Excel/ERP skills

- Communication and follow-up

Experience:

- 6–10 years in garment merchandising

- On-time delivery

- Profitability

- Buyer satisfaction
