Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain solid relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs to ensure seamless service delivery
- Analyze freight costs and market trends to develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
- Set and manage rates for various ocean freight services, ensuring alignment with market conditions and company margin objectives.
- Support the operations and sales teams by providing timely, accurate, and competitive freight quotations.
- Monitor pricing processes and performance, identify gaps,
and implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement.
- Adhere to organizational ethics, compliance standards, and QHSES policies in all business activities.
- Ensure all pricing activities comply with applicable safety, legal, regulatory, and trade compliance requirements.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Minimum 5-8 years in pricing in freight forwarding or related field
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Logistics, operations or supply chain
- Excellent negotiation skills for pricing management
- Analytical mindset to assess pricing structures and cost efficiency.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
