About the channel

YouTube channel built around opinion and insight videos rather than news reads. Think "why you never finish a game" or "I changed my opinion on this game after 250 hours." The videos are personal, conversational, and driven by a robust hook. We are scaling to a daily publishing schedule and need a dedicated editor to own post production.

The role

You will be the editor for every video that goes out. The writing, narration, and presenter footage are already produced. Your job is to turn that raw material into a finished, retention friendly video with motion graphics, gameplay B roll, sound design, and clean pacing.

What you receive for every video:

- The full script
- The recorded narration audio
- Presenter (talking head) video clips already cut to the segments where they belong
- Thumbnail and any custom images or graphics needed

What you deliver:

- One long form video per day, 8 to 10 minutes, 16:9, 1080p or higher
- Two to three short form videos per long form piece, 60 to 90 seconds, 9:16, with captions

Responsibilities
- Edit narration audio into a tight timeline with correct pacing, no dead air, and clean cuts
- Create motion graphics, text animations, and on screen visual support that match the narration beat by beat
- Source, cut, and sync relevant gameplay footage and B roll to what is being said at that exact moment
- Place the supplied presenter clips at their marked timestamps and blend them into the edit
- Add sound design, transitions, music beds, and audio mixing and levelling
- Build vertical shorts from the long form video, including reframing, subject tracking,



and animated captions
- Maintain a consistent visual identity across every upload, including fonts, colours, lower thirds, and title cards
- Deliver on a daily schedule and handle revision notes quickly

Requirements
- Two or more years editing YouTube content, ideally in gaming, tech, or commentary formats
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve with a comparable motion graphics tool
- Proven motion graphics ability. This is not a cuts only role, so your reel must show animated text, graphics, and visual explainers
- Comfortable finding and using gameplay footage legally and cutting it to narration
- Solid sound design and audio mixing instincts
- Experience producing vertical shorts with captions and reframing
- Reliable high speed internet and the ability to move large files through Google Drive, Frame.io, or similar
- Good written English and clear daily communication
- Able to commit to a daily turnaround, roughly one long form plus its shorts within 24 hours

Nice to have
- You actually play games and follow gaming YouTube, so you know which moment of footage belongs under which line
- Experience with AI tools for B roll, upscaling, or asset generation
- Thumbnail design skills
- Familiarity with retention editing and analytics driven pacing

Engagement details
- Location: Remote, open to candidates based anywhere in India
- Type: Full Time
- Working hours: Flexible, as long as the daily deadline is met
- Compensation: 20,000 INR/ month or more depends on the experience.
