Position Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products. Utilize digital tools like SAP, WMS to ensure accuracy in tracking and prevent stock discrepancies.
- Inventory Control: Ensure inventory is tracked efficiently to meet ITO (Inventory Turnover) targets, ensuring that all materials are correctly accounted for and available on time.
- Excessive Material Usage Control: Implement strategies to minimize excessive material usage and reduce waste,



optimizing raw material consumption across all departments.
- Material Disposal and Scrap Control: Manage the disposal of scrapped materials and ensure the accurate processing of scrap inventory, reducing waste and adhering to environmental standards.
- Material Shelf Life Control: Monitor and control material shelf life, ensuring that all materials are used within their prescribed shelf life to maintain product quality.
- Material Deviation Control: Address any material deviations and implement corrective actions to resolve issues with non-conforming materials in a timely manner.
- Work-in-Progress (WIP) Monitoring: Conduct monthly WIP analysis, using Continuous Flow principles to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Coordination with Production: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and kits to the production team, supporting production schedules with Heijunka and Milk Run methods.
- Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce safety regulations, promote a safety-conscious work setting, and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. Use tools like Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing) and Visual Management.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement, Planning, and Transportation teams to optimize material flow, production efficiency, and minimize delays.
- SAP System Management: Ensure the accuracy of material tracking within SAP, updating inventory records as needed, and utilizing digital tools for seamless integration.
- Training & Development: Provide training programs to enhance team skills, focusing on Kaizen (Continuous Improvement), and encourage Gemba Walks for hands-on workplace observation.
- Material Storage Capacity Analysis: Continuously assess and optimize warehouse storage capacity to accommodate changing production requirements and materials.

Job Requirment BE with atleast 8+ years of experience in warehouse management

SAP user and implementation experience

Material management certification / degree will be an added advantage
