Job Title: Sales Manager

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers, expanding critical business lanes, and achieving sales targets. The role also includes customer retention, developing recent territories, and ensuring smooth transitions of clients to the Key Account team.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

Identify and acquire new customers across the assigned zone.

Develop business for critical lanes as defined by the company.

Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure revenue growth.

Retain new customers and establish relationships for the first three months before transitioning them to the Key Account team with prior approval.

Expand into new territories and segments.

Additional Responsibilities:

Maintain regular reporting and performance tracking.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and service delivery.

Follow company SOPs and ensure adherence to policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Sales, Merchandising, or related fields.

MBA preferred.

Minimum academic score: 50%.

Additional qualifications in Logistics will be an advantage.

Work Experience:

Prior experience in the logistics industry.

Proven track record in sales, business development, and client servicing.

Sales Target Achievement: Target vs. achievement.

Business Growth & New Business Initiatives: Targeted vs. actual.

DSO (Days Sales Outstanding): Target vs. achievement.

UVD (Unique Value Delivery): 100% on-time achievement.

SOP Adherence: RM assessment and MOM adherence of >98%.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong sales and business development expertise.

Effective client servicing and relationship management.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Self-motivated and target-driven.

Preferred Certifications & Training:

Any logistics-related certification is a plus.
