The Role

We are looking for a talented and strategic Video Editor who understands that great editing is about more than just cutting clips. It's about storytelling, retention, and algorithm mastery. You will be responsible for creating both short-form and long-form video content that captivates audiences, drives engagement, and helps our clients' brands rank higher across YouTube and other platforms.

You will work closely with our influencer marketing and SEO teams to produce content that not only looks amazing but also performs exceptionally well in the algorithm. If you know how to hook a viewer in the first 3 seconds, keep them watching until the end, and understand what makes content go viral, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and produce high-quality short-form (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) and long-form (YouTube videos, documentaries, interviews) content for RankRover and our clients.




- Use your narrative skills to craft compelling stories that retain viewers and drive action.
- Leverage your deep understanding of platform algorithms to optimise videos for maximum reach, engagement, and ranking.
- Work seamlessly with our influencer marketing, SEO, and strategy teams to align video content with broader campaign goals.
- Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging trends, sounds, and formats to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Handle all aspects of post-production, including colour grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and sound design.

What We're Looking For

- Proven Experience: 1-3 years of qualified video editing experience with a strong portfolio that showcases both short-form and long-form content.
- Algorithm Optimisation: You know how the YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok algorithms work and can edit with them in mind to boost visibility.
- Storyteller: You have a natural ability to structure a narrative that hooks viewers and keeps them engaged from start to finish.
- Team Player: You have experience working in collaborative environments and are comfortable taking direction and giving creative input.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering polished, high-quality work.
