Job Purpose To carry out accurate, on-time meter reading across the assigned route/beat using handheld devices, forming the basis for correct customer billing.

Key Responsibilities • Visit assigned consumer premises as per the reading route/roster and record meter readings using the handheld MRI device.

- Capture meter photographs/readings correctly, flagging any meter faults, tampering signs or access issues.
- Upload/sync reading data daily as per process and report route completion status to the Sr. Engineer.
- Identify and report cases of non-access, locked premises or disputed readings for follow-up.
- Maintain the handheld device and route documentation in positive order.
- Address basic customer queries on reading/billing at the doorstep and escalate where necessary.
